Delicious Mexican flavors!
Great variety pack with unique flavors
This has been the BEST thing this summer for me! I can carry my very own "mocktails" with me and still fill a part of the party. I carry these and my I LOVE CHAMOY sauce and tajin powder. This over some ice in a cold glass cup is where it is at!!! I recommend these to anyone who wants to have a great drink any time of day.
Try Them All
This is a great way to try all the flavors. Most were fantastic, and my favorites and least favorites come down to personal preference. The Ponche, Pineapple Spice, and Grapefruit Lime were big hits. The Prickly Pear was lighter in flavor than I expected, and the Tamarind and Hibiscus were too tart for me, but friends who tried said they were great. I love the Mango Chile but my (gringo) husband didn't like it. I'm glad I tried the Mixta to know what to order in the future.
Did not like the taste
Mango chili taste is disappointing
Not quite mixta enough
My hope in ordering the Mixta was to try flavors not sold at my local store that i might love and want to order direct from DeLaCalle. Unfortunately, my box came with 3 Pinapple spice, 3 mango chili, and 2 of tropical ponche, grapefruit lime, and prikly pear, but no Hibiscus or Tamrindo. Since tamarindo is being phased out i could understand not including that one. Im not sure what the problem was with hibiscus. What i don't understand is why these weren't replaced with other flavors such as mandarin or watermelon. The fact is most stores sell pinapple and mine also sells the mango flavor. In any event, the point of the mixta is to try as many different flavors as possible so i think this was a missed opportunity.
